Hi, I’m Sam. I’m an entrepreneurial software engineer with a passion for crafting quality products. I build things that work, and I like fixing the things that don’t.

I’ve been building software and shipping products for a while, starting in web and consulting, then into full-stack and backend work. Most of it is full-stack web, APIs, and the occasional side project. I care about readable code, systems that are easy to maintain, and solving real problems without over-engineering.

These days I’m focused on building and improving applications, APIs, and tooling. I still enjoy the full cycle, from idea and design through to deployment and support.

I created this blog to share the issues I run into, in hopes that they may help, inspire, or entertain someone else. My hobbies include traveling, soccer, and foosball.
